Heritage Trails

Today we went on the Heritage Trail with the Turanga Health people and visited a lot of statues and memorials on the Heritage Trail. We learnt about 3 rivers Turanganui, Taruheru, and Waimata. At the end we played a really cool game.

Financial Literacy

Today we had a lesson runned by Marlon from ASB bank. We were learning about financial literacy. The reason  we were learning about financial literacy was if we start saving early in life we can afford what we want later in our life. We now know before we spend money we need to stop, think and make good choices.

This is Sarah and I's Tairawhiti Seawalls Post

5 artists from the tairawhiti seawalls
Rebecca ter Borg,  Nigel Roberts, Rhi Gardiner, Trish Brown, Leah McCann
I like this mural because it reminds us that we aren't ruining others seas were ruining our seas.
The work behind this is murals around the city to remind everyone to protect our seas and stop them from
getting ruined along with the animals inside of our ocean. Many artists has taken on this project and helped
it become a big community mural. This specific mural shows that our ocean is slowly but definitely getting
ruined and it needs to stop.
